Deep Steep Argan Oil sugar scrub, and lotion review.

Hey there! Are you looking for a new lotion, or body scrub with amazing natural ingredients? One that is very moisturizing, and also gently exfoliates? Well look no further because Deep Steep has got you covered!
I first heard about Deep Steep from Mary, who writes the blog Pure Makeup, and I was curious about the brand immediately. Hearing her say that it was like the natural version of Bath and Body Works is what sold me. I love body washes and lotions, etc, but it is pretty difficult to find natural brands that have scents other than lavender or lemongrass...both of which I am not a fan of!

Deep Steep is a luxurious body care band, created by Peggy and Paul Lieber, (who actually formulate all of their products), that offers tons of amazing smelling product like shampoos, body sprays, and hand soap. This is a brand that cares about the earth and your body. Their slogan is Clean. Pure. Natural. Happily, their products live up to their claim. Here is a little quote from them:

" Since anything that can be applied to the skin can potentially be absorbed into the body's system, the quality and nature of our ingredients can only be of the highest purity. Our responsibility as leaders of 100% natural formulations is to supply our customers with clean, nourishing products that perform with the highest efficay possible."

One day while I was browsing around TJ Maxx, I came across these babies and I grabbed them up! And for only around $5.00! There were actually two scents I picked up that day, warm vanilla- coconut (shown here), and lotus flower and guava, in the body wash which I will tell about another time.

I was so impressed with both of these products! Being someone with dry, thirsty, skin, I am always glad when I can find a product that does what it claims - moisturize! The warm vanilla- coconut scent is beautiful. It's a little musky, but also a little sweet, and vanilla and coconut are both two of my favorite secents.

Both the lotion and the scrub are packed full of skin loving butters and oils such as sunflower seed oil, argan oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter. A jackpot of moisture! The scrub has a very gentle exfoliation and also leaves behind a layer of moisture which is great for me because my skin is always dehydrated after a nice hot shower! The scrub has since been reformulated and now use brown sugar as the exfoliant, but the one I have uses sucrose. The lotion is so hydrating, I take it to work with me everyday to keep my hands from getting chapped! High quality stuff for such an affordable price!

Have you tried any Deep Steep products? Did you love them?

Skin care RAVE: Sassa Bella Body care

Hello lovelies! I am going to share with you something I have been using for a little over a month and it is is absolutely wonderful! I have been biting my tongue not to talk about it until I had used it long enough to review, and now I'm bursting at the seams to share it! It is organic, handmade, and LOCAL! Yup. Made right here in Kentucky...in Harrodsburg to be exact. While I'm not exactly sure where that is, I am happy that it is still so close to home. The shipping takes ONE DAY to get to me! This wonderful thing my friends, is my skincare. I came across it it in my continuing quest to include more local things in my life. The company is Sassa Bella Body Care, and it was a really pleasant surprise to find a company like this here of all places, because I have been googling my little heart out looking for natural products in my state...and coming up short. We have tons of local food, CSA's, farms, and farmers markets, but we lack natural personal products and things of that nature. Until now! Actually I have come across more since then, but that's a post for another time!

About the company:
This amazing company was started because the creator realized that though she was spending money on the "best" products to take care of herself,  what she found out is that these fancy creams and potions were actually toxic. Much like me, and other green beauty bloggers, she changed her entire life and switched to natural products and then decided to make the best quality products she could, not only for herself but also for babies, and even dogs, and horses! How cool is that?  Sassa Bella has a commitment to the environment, and only uses materials that are sustainable and good for the earth. This is a company I can really stand behind.

The entire line of products offered are everything from bar soaps, to face care, and dog and horse shampoos. All of their ingredients are outstanding as well. I purchased three products from the Ageless Skin line of products, the cleanser, toner, and face cream, and have also tried the pumpkin spice and vanilla bar soaps and I am beyond pleased with everything!

The description for the Ageless Skin line states:

"Fresh, pure and hand mixed in very small batches this line of personal care items has been created to bridge the gap between what's good for your skin and what's good for the globe! Every single item in the entire line is conscientiously created to be the healthiest choice for you and your skin as well as the entire planet! From locally sources natural ingredients to holistically grown organic components and recycled materials used in the containers it comes in at Sassa Bella we're committed to giving the best choices!"

The Ageless line is specifically for dry, or mature skin types, which I have. They are chock full of the most amazing oils, butters, and herbs you can get, so it's no wonder these products have such beautiful results. You can find everything from boabab oil to helichrysum extract in this entire line!

The cleanser is more of a liquid consistency, but also lathers really well, thanks to the decyl glucoside, but it is not at all stripping. My skin feels very smooth and supple after cleansing, and it removes makeup quite well.

The toner is made up of a witch hazel and aloe base, along with vegan hyaluronic acid, and is very soothing and quite moisturizing. It leaves you feeling refreshed but not dried out as is the result of most alcohol based toners.

And finally, the creme de la creme of face creams!!! It is without a doubt my favorite of the three products. It is very thick and creamy, and has the ingredient list you would expect from spa quality products, at less than half the price! I have seen such a difference in the texture and tone of my skin since adding this into my routine, it's just magical stuff. I will list all of the ingredients to each product down below so you can get a glimpse of all of  skin loving nutrients this company has to offer!

Really, if you are looking for a high quality, affordable, and environmentally friendly, and EFFECTIVE line of skin and body care, you should DEFINITELY check out Sassa Bella! On their website there is a coupon for 20% off your very first purchase, so that's even more affordable! Let me know if you give them a try, because I would love to see if you love this brand as much as I do!

P.S. this was all my own opinions. I was not compensated for this review. I really, truly love this brand and bought these items with my hard earned money.

T.A.N.F. haul and swatches!!!!!

Hey guys! I had planned on doing a haul video for these goodies, but I didn't have any free time to film it. I have been off work for the past 10 days and I have been out and about, walking in some of our gorgeous parks we have here, and just enjoying not working. Instead,I thought I would just blog it! That's just as good right? This is going to be a pretty quick lil' post because so many of you already know how awesome T.A.N.F. is and own alot of their products. I just wanted to show you what I got.
I made this order for the Diva Stix specifically because I wanted to use them to do my makeup on halloween ( I was going to be a peacock), but it stormed really bad here, and it was actually cancelled. I don't really mind that I didn't get to use them right away because I wanted them regardless. I loooove these Diva Stix so much! I can't believe that they are so affordable (under 5 bucks!!) and such good quality. I absolutely love all of the products I have tried from The All Natural Face so far, and I already have a few more things on my wishlist :) Anywho, let's move on to the swatches.

So far, I like the blues the best. The peacock blue and blueberry are both so gorgeous!!! I wore the peacock on my water line as eyeliner today and it is amazing. It makes my blue eyes stand out even more than black eyeliner.
The camera doesn't even show how spectacular antique silver, deep sea green, and green ice are in person either...they are breath taking! I can't wait to wear them on my eyes because so far I have only swatched them. In the sunlight they both sparkle so much, and inside light I didn't even realize they had sparkle. I will definitely do a GRWM soon to show them to you. I hope you enjoyed this very short post, I just wanted to let you see how beautiful these shadows are! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
