Concrete Minerals review & swatches!!

Hey everyone! Todays post is long awaited, for me anyways! I have been obsessing over these items for a little over a month now and I can't stop using them! If you follow me on YouTube, you have already seen me talk about, and use them and now I'm excited to bring them to you up close and personal...with swatches! Now you can see the gorgeous, richly pigmented, awesomeness that lies within these containers.

Let's get started!

I want to tell you a little about Concrete Minerals, and then we shall move onto the swatches/ review. Ok. Concrete Minerals is a mineral makeup brand that offers a range of products from eyeshadows, lip tints, and nail polishes, and they are also cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and made in the USA. Amazing right? That meets all my criteria for beauty products, and then some!

I came across them by accident on Google (where I find literally everything), and as soon as I took a gander at the brightness of their shadows I knew I had to place an order! I immediately went to their website and looked at their ingredients, and then checked out everything they offered, and then got even MORE excited when I found out that they had a special deal for bloggers.

Yes! The have a special deal that  if you are a blogger/ vlogger, and have 100+ subscribers, you can get 4 of their mineral OR pro-matte eyeshadows for only $15.00 USD. I poured over their shadows for a couple hours before deciding on the ones I ended up with, and also added a couple lip tints to my order. This is a great way to try their products because each shadow costs $7.00 USD, so you get quite a discount!

My order arrived super quickly, actually one day sooner than estimated, which I was really happy about. I actually have a haul video if you are interested in that.

Ok, now lets get to the swatches!!! I think I'll start with the shadows :)

The four colors I chose were:
Rocked (soft, neutral peach with violet sheen)
Unity (vibrant purple with gold sparkle)
Infinity (aqua blue)
Brat (hot pink with violet undertones)

OH MY GOSH I was blown away with these shadows! They were even more beautiful and brighter than their online pictures and just amazing quality. The pigmentation of these shadows is so intense, you would never think they were completely natural mineral pigments!! They apply very smoothly, even on my crinkly eyelids, even without a primer. They are also super long lasting. I don't wear a primer, but I do use my foundation on my eyelids, and they last pretty much the whole day on me, with little creasing if any at all.

I also got two samples with my order, and they were:

Croma (shimmery-lavender with aqua sparkle)
Kinky (black-based teal, with rainbow sparkle)

These two colors are very pretty, but Croma is a very cool toned color that doesn't go well with my skin tone. I do however really like Kinky! It is such a unique color! I have not used it in a look yet but I have swatched it and think it is gorgeous. Look for it in a GRWM very soon!

Like I said before, I was drooling over all of their products, and when I saw the liptints, I had to get a couple! I chose:

Rocket (vibrant coral- pink)
Vamp (cherry red)

The description of these liptints is pretty accurate, although on my lips Vamp is a little more of a pink tone which is fine with me! Let me just say, these lip tints are so pigmented, they are almost like a lipstick! They have a very pepperminty scent and tingle, so if you aren't a fan of peppermint these probably won't be for you. I use to not like peppermint in my lip products because it can be very strong and burn, but that is not the case with these. I LOVE them. I am constantly grabbing for these when I need a lip color.

Rocket is my favorite of the two, just because coral is my favorite color, but Vamp is also a gorgeous color. I am absolutely thrilled that I found out about this brand, and I will DEFINITELY be back for more products very soon!

Have you tried Concrete Minerals before? What did you think of them?

xo,

Shauna

Wow, great prices! I really like the look of the Croma - it looks quite grey/purple? The brighter colours aren't ones that I would personally use but I will certainly be having a look at the line. Thanks for the swatches! :) x

Great post and swatches! I also loved your Concrete Minerals video. I love their bright and unique colors, and surprised by your swatches at just how pigmented they are! They're the green beauty version of Urban Decay.
